Considerations for filming

• Make sure your school does not have policy restrictions about filming in the classroom. Not in the classroom? That’s ok. You can still fil,m

• Let students know these videos will not be posted on social media (only professionals with the password can access them) and and are not about evaluating the students. Offer the ability for students to opt-out who don’t want to be recorded

• Students may be shy and act uncharacteristically with a camera around. The more times you record, the less they will think about it.

• Consider designating a student to manage the camera and encourage students to speak up
